Sterna Beach sits on the Perachora peninsula north of Loutraki, facing the Corinthian Gulf. It is a small natural cove rather than an organized resort strand, valued for clear water under calm conditions and a setting of rock, scrub and distant gulf views.
Official tourism material also characterizes access as difficult. More recent regional guidance describes a final dirt-track section of less than a kilometer after the road beyond Perachora. Claims that an ordinary car can manage it reflect particular conditions, not a guarantee. Rain, erosion, parked vehicles and maintenance can change a short track quickly, and rental agreements may exclude unsealed roads.
