Arrowhead Stadium

Arrowhead Stadium (officially GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium) in Kansas City, Missouri, will host six matches at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, including a quarterfinal on 11 July. During the tournament it is known as Kansas City Stadium.

The stadium in brief

Opened in 1972, it is the home of the NFL's Kansas City Chiefs and holds the Guinness World Record as the loudest outdoor stadium ever measured, at 142.2 decibels. World Cup capacity is roughly 73,000. Its wall of sound is expected to produce one of the most intense atmospheres of the tournament.

History

A cornerstone of the Truman Sports Complex, Arrowhead is one of the NFL's most storied venues and home to the Chiefs dynasty of the 2020s. Its longevity and fervent fan culture make it a fitting host for knockout football.
