BMO Field, on the Lake Ontario waterfront at Toronto's Exhibition Place, will host six matches at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, including
Canada's tournament opener on 12 June, the first men's World Cup match ever played on Canadian soil. During the tournament it is called
Toronto Stadium.

Opened in
2007, BMO Field was
Canada's first soccer-specific stadium and is the home of MLS side
Toronto FC and the CFL's
Toronto Argonauts. A roughly US$120 million upgrade and temporary stands behind the goals have raised its World Cup capacity to about
45,700, the smallest of the 16 venues.
History
Built on a site that has hosted stadiums for over a century, BMO Field staged the 2007 FIFA U-20 World Cup and multiple MLS Cups, and Toronto FC won the 2017 MLS Cup here. It is the only soccer-specific stadium selected for the 2026 tournament.
